William E. "Bill" Schneider

William “Bill” E. Schneider, 79, of Bacliff, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 23, 1936 to Helena and Emil Schneider. He was married to Francis Geraldine Schneider for 20 years.

He had a career in maintenance working for the Dickinson Independent School District. In his spare time he indulged in his passion for motorcycles and the NHRA. Bill accomplished a great deal in his life, to much to list it all. He considered his time managing the Houston racetrack in the late 60’s and early 70’s as his dream job. Bill not only built motorcycles but raced them as well. He broke many records on the track.

He was preceded in death by wife, Francis Geraldine Schneider; 1st wife, Gail Clarice Schneider; son, William Scott Schneider; and grandson, Jonathon Kelly.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Rex Gage; step-daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Darrow Redden; step-son and daughter-in-law, James and Sue Ayers; step-son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Tammie Kelly; step-son and daughter-in-law Jackie and Lisa Kelly; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 21, 2016, 10:30 am in the chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2016 at Forest Park East Funeral Home with enterment to follow.
