Yunsim W. Lam

Yunsim Lam had a career in education as a teacher for St. Joseph College (Catholic primary and secondary school) until 1975. She was also a small business owner in food service from 1977-1988. She was a member of Clearlake Chinese Church and had a passion for cooking, knitting and sewing in her younger years, spending time with families and friends, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband, and eight siblings.

She is survived by her son, Kai S. Lam (married to Bonnie J. Buralti), daughters, Wyman Wong (married to Kaiser Wong), Carmen Lam (married to Tom Cunningham) Vivien Reisinger (married to Dallas Reisinger), grandsons, Nathan Lam (married to Jennifer Tung), Reuben Lam, Aaron Lam, and Kenneth Wong (married to Marsha Bridgett-Wong), granddaughter, Delfina Reisinger (married to Nathan Haworth), and great grandchildren, Eli Haworth, Izzy Haworth, Kaiden Wong, and Kaison Wong.

A visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, on August 18, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the same venue on August 19, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a graveside service from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
