Nancy Roderick

Nancy was born in Rochester NY. She is predeceased by her parents, Richard G. and Dorothy E. Brown of Rochester, NY.

She is survived by her husband, Casey Roderick of Mashpee, MA; her son Aaron Manual Tran Roderick of Boulder CO; daughter, Anna Jane Vo Roderick of Mashpee, MA; and Nancy's brother, Kenneth Brown and wife Laura of Rochester, NY. Also survived by many cousins in the Rochester, NY area as well as nieces and nephews. In addition, she has many relatives in Provincetown, MA.

Nancy attended Rochester Institute of Technology where she was certified in American Sign Language. She was an interpreter for students at Rochester school for the Deaf. She later moved to New Orleans, LA where she was an accounting clerk for DEF Investments. After their marriage, Nancy and Casey moved to Rochester NY where she worked at the George Eastman House and University of Rochester Neurology Trials. Nancy and Casey moved to Mashpee, MA in June of 2004. She worked at MBL in Woods Hole and Antonia's Flowers in Osterville. She went on to work for the Wareham Public School Department Administrative offices and her final employment was as a Grant Secretary in the Special Education Department for the Plymouth Public School Department.

Nancy was very active in adoption, and was a participant in the adoption support group Adoption Journeys in Sandwich, MA.

Nancy loved going to Arts and Crafts fairs and attending Aaron and Anna's various sports especially the 2011 Mashpee High School State football championship at Gillette Stadium.

The Roderick Family will receive visitors on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 3-6 PM at the Nickerson Funeral Home, 340 Main St., Wellfleet, MA. A memorial mass will be celebrated for Nancy on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM in St. Peter the Apostle Church, 11 Prince St., Provincetown, MA. Burial will take place in St. Peter the Apostle Cemetery on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Cape Cod Hospice and VNA.
