Letitia Holleran, Sanibel Island, FL; John F Fagan, Cheshire, CT; Mary Fagan Brainard, Aiken, South Carolina. Brothers Terrance A. Fagan of Suncook, NH and Vincent Peter Fagan Jr of Greenville, NC preceded her in death.
Pat graduated from Wethersfield High School, St Joseph’s College, and University of Connecticut, earning a Masters Degree in Social Work. She was married to Frank Gerald George Kofsuske of Wallingford, CT for 42 years before his passing in May of 2003. Pat was a social worker in the New Britain CT schools and was well respected for her diligence and no-nonsense style. She is remembered as a dedicated working mom who tirelessly supported her children’s interests, school events, athletics, and art.
Retiring to the Cape in 1999, Pat volunteered at the Thrift Store, attended Tai Chi classes and Lobster Roll Luncheons at the Senior Center, and cared for her beloved dog Kierra. She rode out winter storms with dear friends Ruth and Ruth Ellen to whom we are eternally grateful for their friendship and support. Pat loved annual Cape 4th of July reunions with her children and their families including Kathy McCartney, Boca Raton, FL, Jody Paviglionite, Stony Creek, CT, Mary Gurchiek, Barrington, RI, Frank Kofsuske and Yolanda De Montijo, Sonoma, CA, Ann and Oliver Stocks, Dover, MA and Meggan and Jon Oxford, Albany, CA.
She loved Wellfleet meals out, deck BBQs, and visits from her beloved grandchildren: Lyndsey McCartney, Christopher McCartney, Nicole Paviglionite, Emma Gurchiek, Lilly Stocks, Sasha Kofsuske, and Adele Oxford.
Pat will be remembered as strong sister, wife and aunt, proud mother and grandmother, and a strong willed woman with a generous heart who loved her Manhattans and lobster!
