Dear Caroline and Gerry, 
Sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. Barb's laughter and generous spirit remain vivid in my childhood memories. I also remember how dearly my late mother, Gladys, cherished her friendship. Wishing you much strength and fond remembrance.

Barbara and I met at the Port Union Library afternoon Book Club way back in 2002 and we clicked immediately! She was such a loving and caring person, so easy to talk to and always had a warm hug for me. I am so so sad at her passing and will miss her terribly! May God rest her soul in eternal peace! Love you, Barbara!!

I was saddened to read of Barb's passing.  I served with her for 12 years on the SBE.  I was the Separate School Representative for wards 1 to 4/5 and shared responsibility for many schools with her.  Barb always had the interest of her ward, her schools and the children attending her schools as her prime motivator.  She also cared deeply for education in Scarborough, in Ontario and Canada-wide and dedicated her time, intellect and energy to those ends.  She was what a School Trustee should be and I was blessed to receive her advice throughout our time on the Board.  Education will miss her greatly.

I was so very sorry to hear of your Mom passing away. She was a very special lady!!! She was special to me and many others I know and she will BE MISSED VERY MUCH. She always had that SPECIAL smile that made me always feel the she was happy to see me. She had such a BIG HEART!! I believe that Barb is happy to be reunited with Carl as she has missed him very much. My prayers are with you as you go through this very difficult time.

What a beautiful woman....so caring, generous and loving. Words can't properly describe her warm spirit. Barbara was a lady who cared for so many people.   Friend or stranger, Barbara made time for us all.  "How are you today, dear"?  She would light up a room just by entering it.  Her laugh was a thing of joy.  She will be deeply missed because she was deeply loved.  May she rest in peace.  Our condolences to her family.
