Berkeley was a childhood friend,we attended William Tredway Public School  and only were 10 days  apart in age.  Our family moved away to the Simcoe area,but yet we kept in touch by mail. Berkeley and his parents would visit us in summers on our vegetable growing farm. But as it happens we did not keep up our contact. It is sad to hear of his passing and his family pictures tell of a loving man,his parents,his wife,children and grandchildren,a good man. You are in my thoughts.

My dear dear Friend. I just learned that you have  'left'  us. I am stunned, and so SO saddened by this news. I am ever so grateful for the times we have shared, the laughter, your kindness,  your jokes, your candor about any given topic, your compassion towards animals. I sit here today still stunned and empty as to our loss. Berk was a great brother in law. He was always there when we needed help or just to ask a question. No matter the time or day. We loved him as a brother in the family and miss him so much already. I hope in time we can all remember the great days, the love and the family moments we all had together. A kind and gentle friend, Berk was always available to lend a hand, tell a joke or just be a support, whether for a computer issue or to talk.  You will be messed.

We were deeply saddened to learn yesterday of Berk's sudden passing.  He was in our house only a short time ago fixing our computer (one of many visits) and we always enjoyed his company: a warm and friendly man.

To Berk's family,
I am so saddened to hear of Berk's passing.  He was the gentlest soul, kind, thoughtful and always up for a chat.  My kids always gave him a hug when he was finished solving my crazy computer problems.  They referred to him as a big teddy bear...even now in their teenage years they still hugged him.  He was so proud of his children and loved his grandchildren deeply.  Gosh...you are so missed already Berk.   From Leah, Jenna and Joshua.

Sincere condolences to Mr Berk's family. We've known him just for a short period of time and he was quite a gentlemen. He did everything with pride and always made himself available. He will be missed. We shared a common bond-the love of animals.

 My wife and  I  have only known Berk for a short time. Berk was a gentleman and always courteous and he will be missed.

Brenda,Taunya,Jeffery,Steven, I am so sorry for the passing of Berk. There are not enough words to express the void which he has left. A husband, father & grandfather to your family and a great friend.

Berk was a warm and caring man with a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed.    My partner, Ron and myself were clients of Berks for many years.  I had just seen Berk a few days before his death and we had a great laugh about some of his experiences in his youth.  Berk always spoke so lovingly about his family including his sweet dog.  Ron and I send our sincerest condolences to Berk's family.

I was (at one time) a Mason along with Berk and most sorry to see him leave the Craft. In our recent loss of a son Berk was so kind as to send condolences to us. He will be missed by many.
