Clarinda having worked with you for many years in at BMO. You will be missed by many. You were always so helpful and kind and I loved our time on the 28th floor.

I've always known Ninang Daday as a loving, beautiful and kind-hearted person. She shows that kind-hearted people equally show strength in facing hurdles in life. Ninang Daday faced every challenge with grace, and never gave up even when it got tough and to the line. 

Despite our distance, she was always there for me - always a call away. I will forever regret the opportunities missed to see her and spend time with her.

Ninang, I hope you're happy and rested where you are. I hope you and Daddy will watch over us, guiding us as we continue our journey here. We'll always carry you in our hearts.

I am so proud of all your accomplishments. You were born premature but proved to be the strongest amongst the siblings. Still couldn't believe that you were taken away too soon. You are at peace now with no suffering, with Papa beside you.

Ditse (Ninang Daday to the kids) has been a very loving and gentle aunt and sister-in-law. Her eyes would light up talking to her nieces and nephews. She was kind and thoughtful. 

I always admired her perseverance and resilience, and what she had achieved in her life. I saw her as a doting mother, a daughter who honoured her parents, and despite our distance, she always showed us how much she loved us all. She always cheered us on and celebrated our milestones. 

Thank you Lord for the blessing of having Clarinda in our lives - for the love and light she gave,  and for the inspiration she will be.

Ditse, may you be in a better place now. We will continue to pray for you and your family. Know that we are always here for Connor and Kuya Stephen.

It's been a bitter sweet journey for me.. after talking, worrying and crying over the phone for ages I finally got to fly to visit and see my dearest Ditse. 
Seeing her in person for the first time broke my heart into a million pieces.. Physically, this was not the Ate Daday I knew. The vibrant and beautiful woman who always had a smile that can light up your day and eyes that can warm your soul was gone... left was a shell of herself,   ravaged by a terrible disease. 

I distinctly remember the time we hugged each other. In that moment I felt how brave and strong she was because  even though she can barely walk and talk somehow she still managed to will herself to make me feel loved, appreciated and to reassure me- "it's going to be ok".
I knew my dear sister had little time left but I could never be prepared when it does happen. She was a kind and gentle soul taken away too early.
Ditse,
 I take solace that now you are free from pain and suffering. That I was able to spend precious moments with you and our family- just the way you wanted.
Thankful for the time i was able to care for you  and grateful you gave me a chance  to say how much I love you every single day.. 

Please give Papa a tight hug for me.

Life will never be the same without you ate.. You will always be in our hearts.. Words could not really express how we feel right now.. We love you so much ate.. 

You are in my prayers.  Words can not describe how much you will be missed my friend.

Daday as we call her has been with us from the moment she started her Canadian dream. She was loving, caring and compassionate niece, and considered as our own daughter. She was so helpful, generous and protective cousin to my kids. We shared plenty of a fun filled memories, that the whole family will treasure forever. 


Heaven gained an Angel. As promised to her we will take good care of Connor, We will love him and Stephen unconditionally.

Clarinda’s kindness and humour meant so much to me when we worked together at BMO.
