October 25, 1942 – July 7, 2014

Born in Toronto, raised in East York and lived in Scarborough.

Peacefully, after struggling with terminal cancer for two years Elaine passed away. Beloved wife of Murray for 49 years and loving Mother to Derrek (Emelene) and Grandma to Sebastian and Preston. Predeceased by her parents, Luke and Nellie Graves, as well as brother Ralph. Survived by her sister Doreen Arnold ( Norman) and Brother Ron. Elaine will be sadly missed by her extended family members and friends. Elaine will be remembered for her unique wit, sense of humor, encyclopedia of general knowledge and generous nature. Elaine’s door was always open to help others and there was always food on the table. Elaine lived by the BIBLE and enjoyed the open discussion of believers from many faiths. Special thanks to the Doctors and Staff at Sunnybrook and Princess Margaret Hospital’s. In lieu of flowers donations to the cancer research at Sunnybrook and Princess Margaret Hospital’s would be appreciated. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Giffen Mack Funeral Home and Cremation Centre [4115 Lawrence Ave E, West Hill, On M1E 2S2, (416) 281-6800]. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
