Ruth passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at The Scarborough Hospital.
Ruth was pre-deceased by husbands George Gooch, Floyd Preston and Benson Hamilton.
She will be dearly missed by her five children and their spouses; Paul Gooch (Pauline Thompson), Judith Reynolds (Robert), Ron Gooch (Rebecca), Kathryn Cestnick (John Saso) and Peter Gooch (Janice Currie). She will also be missed by her 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
The family greatly appreciated the warm care given to Ruth by the staff at Bendale Acres Long Term Care and The Scarborough Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at the long-time Gooch Family church, Bendale Bible Chapel, 330 Bellamy Road North, Scarborough, M1H 1E8. Visitation will be at the church at 10:30 AM. The Funeral Service will be at 11:30 AM with a reception to follow.
Interment will be at St. Margaret in the Pines (Lawrence Ave. East at Kingston Rd) following a short reception.
