

Lynn leaves his beloved wife Christina (Tina) Bowker Connell of 51 years; his 4 children: Janice (John), Jeff (Niki), Jennifer (Jason), Jerry (Michelle); 9 grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Jayla, Jack, Jesse, Joey, Julian, Jace and Jonah.
Beloved brother of Guy, Karen and Jay; predeceased by brother Gary and sister Gay.
Lynn was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario in 1941.
Later, after moving to Montreal, he joined a skydiving club which became his passion, doing over 300 jumps and entering several competitions.
While working at Expo ‘67, at the “Man and his Oceans” pavilion, he would meet his future bride “Tina”.
Then, in 1968, Lynn moved to Toronto for work. Here he began a career as an elevator mechanic which would span 31 years.
In 1972, Lynn and Tina married. Their favourite family memories would be made at their log cabin on Chiblow Lake in Northern Ontario.
Lynn’s favourite pastimes would be playing snooker at RCL Branch 258, as well as fishing and hunting in Northern Ontario.
Lynn was always in great spirits, generous to friends and enjoyed family time, especially sharing his jokes and shocking the grandchildren!
He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Veterans Poppy Fund or RCL Branch 258.
A celebration of life is being planned for June 2024.
