Gerard Francis O'Leary

He will be sadly missed by his dearest wife of 43 years Mattie, his two children, Shirley and Rave (Lynette), and his three grandchildren Joshua, Abigail and Gabriel who were his pride and joy.

Gerard was a loving brother, brother in-law, and uncle to many of the Surujlall and O’Leary families as well as their extended families across North America.

His departure will be deeply felt by many.

Gerard was the simplest of men. Content watching a sci-fi movie or a super hero movie with his grandchildren, playing cards or a board game, he looked forward to these times with family.

We would like to thank everyone for their condolences and well wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation in his memory.

A celebration of Gerard’s life will be held Saturday, October 19th at 1 pm at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, in Scarborough.

We would like to extend our invitation to all those who would like to join us in honoring a great man.

All are welcome to join the family immediately following the service for a reception to be held at D’Pavillion Restaurant, 3300 Lawrence Ave East, Scarborough, M1H 1A6.
