Beloved wife of the late Frank Graham (1993), loved mother of Rob (Rita), Pickering and Cindy (Victor) Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Kimberly (Ben), Jordan, Matthew, Emily (Justin) and great-granddaughter Ellie. Joan was a dear sister to the late Bob Hooper and survived by sister-in-law Betty Hooper, sister Shirley Downer and many nieces and nephews.
Joan spent her early years in Kitchener and after marrying Frank, moved to Galt (Cambridge) where they raised their family. Joan was an avid curler and enjoyed playing tennis, and cross-country skiing with Frank. She also developed a keen interest in sewing, knitting and quilting. She was a woman of faith and for many years was active in her church.
A Service of Remembrance for Joan will be held on December 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM-12:00PM with a reception to follow at the Giffen Mack Funeral Home located at 4115 Lawrence Avenue East in Scarborough.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Joan’s name to a charity of your choice.
