I REMEMBER GOING TO HER HOUSE WITH THERED HAT LADIES AND HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME IN HER BACKYARD.  SHE WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND VERY KIND.  MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO ALL THE FAMILY.  CHRISTA GALLIGAN RED HAT

Marilyn was an exceptional colleague at the Volunteer Centre's anti-fraud program.  In teams of two we taught seniors how to avoid being victims of fraud.  When the Volunteer Centre ended its program Marilyn (and others) cheerfully found new homes.    Marilyn joined her local Community Police Liaison Committee and continued helping seniors avoid fraudsters.  I taught with  her several times. She was excellent at it, with great audience rapport.   Audience members always left with smiles on their faces when Marilyn was a presenter.  We will all, colleagues and  audiences, miss her very much.  

Marilyn will be dearly missed at the Scarborough  Theatre 
she will also be missed at the Scarborough Tuesday Probus Club

Dear Linda and family
We are so sorry for your loss. Few people cross our path in life that leave such an impact. Marilyn was a valued friend  - always lively, opinionated and not afraid to stand up for what she believed in. Always engaged with others and fun to be with. Marsh and I will miss the “catch-up” lunches - to which I was sometimes invited! - and the annual barbecue she hosted for us at her home with Frank and Sandy - lots of laughter and wine!
We will always have good memories of those fun times.

Marilyn was the face of the Scarborough Theatre Guild, and basically Scarborough theatre in general. The audiences looked forward to seeing her at each performance. Listening to her at the beginning of each production and at the intermissions to draw the 50/50 tickets became a part of the show! She will be greatly missed by the Guild members and our audiences alike.

Gone all too soon - Marilyn will be sadly missed by all her colleagues on the Executive Board - Scarborough Guildwood, Conservative Party of Canada.
We enjoyed her expertise and no nonsense, kind personality, at our meetings or when anything political was being discussed.
We saw her just last week and I remember sitting around our campaign office desk writing envelopes to the membership for their support. She was always ready to offer her advice and step up to help wherever needed.  May she rest in eternal peace and we send our deepest sympathy at this difficult time to her entire family.

I had the pleasure to meet Marilyn while working Front of House for Scarborough Theatre Guild shows.  Marilyn was a fantastic FOH coordinator - calm, organized and motivating .  She will be greatly missed.  I enjoyed her sense of humour, including calling the volunteer lanyards "jewelry".

Such a lovely lady! I had the pleasure of working with Marilyn many times for the Theatre Scarborough shows. Always very kind and caring but would stand for no messing. She had a wicked sense of humor too when you got to know her properly.
Once you were a friend, you were a friend for life!

I'll treasure the memories I have of our times together. Marilyn will be sadly missed.
