Our dearest mother, Philomena Kingson, passed away peacefully on June 17th, 2025.
With all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren by her side, she wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Her family was everything to her and this was witnessed by her beaming smile whenever we were all around her. In her eyes we could do no wrong.
Loving wife to the late Wilfred. Proud mother to Gary (Cristina) (late Loraine), Sharon (Doug), and Mark (late Maria). Adoring grandmother to Adam, Rachelle (Troy), Stephanie, Sarah (Nathan) and Michael. Great-grandmother to Rebecca, Samuel Penn, Jude, Silas and Theo, and great-great-grandmother to Landen. Philomena will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.
Our mom was a music teacher who had the most beautiful voice. She sang in the church choir for years, at weddings, funerals and even sang background in movies.
She was an extremely strong woman and for those who were close to her knew her to be the driving force behind her beloved husband Wilfred in charitable works. It was her who urged him to give, share and care. She was always heard saying, “Wils, those poor people need help, lets give since we are so fortunate.”
Dancing lit a fire in her soul, but it was in her husband’s embrace that she truly shone. Together they cut a magnificent figure on the dance floor. Their smiles always joyful.
With a heart anchored in faith, she surely stepped into eternity, greeted by angels and reunited with those who went before her.
Sleep peacefully, dearest mother. Your absence leaves a silence only love can fill. We will carry you in our hearts always.
