In loving memory of Robert Ross Newton, our dear friend and husband of Kaye for many years.
So many happy memories of good times and laughter shared through the years.
‘Our words are few, our feelings deep, our memories of you we will always keep.’

Beautiful and thoughtful service today: the readings, the service and burial. Thank you to the family and the church for coordinating.
We spent all of our family birthdays, Christmas’, Thanksgivings, Easters and New Years Eves with Kaye and Ross (as we knew him). We spent our Florida holidays with Kaye and Ross too and have very fond memories of swimming in the ocean with Ross, him racing us on the beach, stopping for food and finding motels along the highway, Ben Hur on Christmas Day, the way he pretended he was a piece of bacon frying on a pan til my sisters and Kaye and mom were in belly laughs. Ross had a huge personality with a massive smile and a hearty laugh. He loved his cats, his home, his gardens and mostly Kaye. This is what we will remember.

Uncle Bob was my favourite uncle. We had many interesting conversations over the years. He was a very kind & friendly man. He'll be greatly missed.

We were so sorry to hear of Bob's passing but now he is with his beloved Kay. We used to live a few doors away from Bob & Kay and also knew them at Melville Presbyterian Church. A lovely couple.
