Robert "Bob" Clifford Rynyk

With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that surrounded by his loving family the passing of Robert (Bob) Clifford Rynyk on June 21, 2023. Robert will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 59 years Joan, his children Nadine and Terrance (Lorna), his grandchildren Evan, Shaelyn and Christel (CL), his brother Douglas along with many close family friends and colleagues.

Bob was a proud, committed and distinguished member of IBEW Local Union 353 for 63 years. He continued to serve his Union through leading and organizing various Retiree Robert continued serve his union through leading and organizing various Retiree initiatives and activities. He had a passion for all seasonal activities. In his later years, he filled his time volunteering and fundraising for various charitable organizations.

Most important of all, was Robert’s commitment and great love for his family.

Services have been entrusted to Giffen-Mack Funeral Home on Friday June 30, 2023 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm, with a celebration of life being planned for a later date.

For those who wish, a donation in memory of Robert may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Sunnybrook Foundation (Odette Cancer Centre), Diabetes Canada or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
