Aspasia Petris

Aspasia Petris, age 88, of West Palm Beach, fell asleep peacefully on August 6, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 16, 1937 in Sparta, Greece. Aspasia married the love of her life, Nick Petris, in 1959 in Montreal Canada, and later moved to West Palm Beach in 1973.

They shared many wonderful years together until his passing in 2009. Together, they raised two children, Stamatis and Martha(2006) and built a life centered around family, faith, and community.

Aspasia is survived by her son Stamatis Petris ( Sofia Petris), her grandchildren Billy (Charlene), Christina, Nick and Demetri, and her great-grandchildren Leo and Loucas. She is also survived by her two sisters, Anna and Christina and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as all of her friends.

Aspasia devoted her life to her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and to her many friends. You would find her in church every Sunday and of course, every festival in the kitchen making the salads!

A funeral service for Aspasia will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 110 Southern Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33405. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church in her memory. "
