Gary Davis was one of my closest friends for almost 20 years. We would speak or hang out for hours a day until we couldn't stay awake or batteries died on our phones. He was known to my 4 children as Uncle Gary M. Davis. He was known to many as Giving, Loving, Selfless and Helpful to Everyone he would meet. He had no children or wife but treated everyone equal and loved to take my kids to menchees or dennys for breakfast. He would order pizza whenever my kids were hungry even if it was his last $20. He supported all of my businesses by showing up, connecting to others or investing his own money. I am so very blessed to have known and been around this man! Gary loved the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals and Jayhawks. He would always talk about Kansas City BBQ and so Highly about all of his Friends and Family that he grew up with and went to school.. I felt like I was there whenever he would talk about the stories of his friends, family and even x-girlfriends. Gary Davis will always be the best friend and older brother I've ever had. Thank you for the blessings, memories and friends you've given my family and I and look forward to keeping your Legacy Alive. May you Always Be Respected and Remembered through all of your Friends and Families Generations. My Family and I will Love You Forever and know your spirit is with us shining down Brightly!
I hope to meet all of your friends and family someday in Kansas City.
Sincerely Your Friend & Brother Forever, Love Always,

Ray Combs & Family

I have known Gary for almost 50 years and he has been like a forth brother I’m our family. I will always remember Gary as a genuine and selfless friend. We shared a lot of laughs & good times throughout the years. He was one of Danny’s closes friends growing up and even after we lost Dan over six years ago he always stayed in touch with me and my family throughout. I always enjoyed visiting Gary in Florida and we usually frequented Houstons in Pompano Beach one of our favorite restaurants. Gary will be missed by the entire Waldberg family in more ways then I can mention. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Davis family in this most difficult time.

Gary was part of our pack! Where Rob and Danny et al were, Gary was too. And I by association spent many hours with the crew, cruising the streets, going to BBYO events, pizza nights, roller skating, double and triple dating, Confetti's, and on and on. Gary was a really kind, fun, great guy and he will be so missed. Rob and I hold many fond memories of our escapades. Heartfelt condolences to his entire family.

I've known Gary for over 50 years! We played baseball and basketball at the old JCC. His Dad even coached us one summer. I refereed basketball with Gary and we always had a good time. We would catch up from time to time on Facebook . He was one of the good guys and will be missed. My condolences to his family.

One of my longest time friendships. My thoughts and prayers to Karen and family. Dating back to the early days in BBYO, Gary was a couple years older and a guy to look up to. He was always more than happy to offer a ride and we would hang out all night. I still remember his green Plymouth Duster. Will always be remembered as a generous buddy.
