

Igenia Gédélis “Ninin” Predescar, 76, of West Palm Beach, reunited with the Lord and her loved ones on Friday, November 27, 2015, after suffering a brain trauma. Igenia was born in Gonaïves, Haiti on January 15, 1939 to Gédélis Gédéon and Decilia Gabriel. Igenia was a trail blazer; she traveled throughout the Caribbean Islands, and the Americas, launching a successful clothing business. Igenia loved to say she graduated from the school of hard knocks. Igenia was a pragmatic local business owner with a heart of gold. Her hearty laugh and quick wit always brought smiles to those around her. She was the matriarch of her family.
Igenia has left in incredible legacy in her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Her only child Igenette Dolisca, grandchildren Marcelle Dolisca, Fritz Dolisca, Raynald Dolisca, Hughens Dolisca, Khoeny Dolisca, Anghea B. Dolisca of Marcel Dolisca (son-in-law), great-grandchildren Nadira Morrison and Akirah Dolisca. Siblings Felucienne Eliassaint (Lucy), Arcenio Gédéon, and Elianne Gédéon and numerous nieces, nephews and beloved extended family members survive Igenia.
Visitation will be held at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation & Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417 on Friday 12/11/15 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held at Saint Ann Catholic Church at 310 N Olive Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 on Saturday, 12/12/15 at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33411
