Joan Sherman of Palm Beach, Florida passed away suddenly on July 28, 2015 after a brief illness. Joan was born on April 6, 1935 in San Francisco, California and lived in Palm Beach, Florida for the past 17 years.
Joan is survived by son Michael Monte, daughter-in-law Suzanne Monte, daughter Cari Cole, step-daughter Rene Day, and brothers; twin brother Al Ireton, younger brother Gary Ireton and sister-in-law Kim Ireton. She was predeceased by her husband David Sherman.
Besides having a lifetime full of accomplishments Joan was an avid supporter of many charities especially those that serve our military veterans, are dedicated to fighting blindness, or provide for cancer research.
In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate gifts in her memory to the charity of your choice that serves one of her special areas of interest.
There will be A Celebration of Joan’s Life Service at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33417.
