John Ceasar Rodney

John was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 13, 1943. John moved to Florida in 1977 with his family. He lived in South Florida devoting the rest of his life to his family and numerous different pets.

John worked as a civilian employee for the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office in the county jail for 22 years before he retired in 2018. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed hunting. HIs three grandchildren brought him such pride and joy to his life.

John is survived by his older brother Richard Rodney(Charlotte) of Newton Square, PA: son Joseph Rodney of Granite City, Il; son Robert Rodney (Deana) of Venus, FL; daughter Helen Rodney of Pompano Beach, FL; daughter Cathe Labott (Sean) of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren Samantha Rodney and Robert Rodney of Venus, FL; and grandson Sean Labott JR. of West Palm Beach, FL; also his nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 15th from 2:00-6:00pm at Quattlebaum Funeral Home. 5411 Okeechobee Blvd. West Palm Beach, FL 33417.
