Jim, John, Lisa & entire family...

I just heard  about Joe  passing the day I returned north...Karyn & I are so sorry to learn this news. Dana was good enough to catch me up on the details etc knowing he went peacefully is a Blessing he deserved...we wish we could have been present to show our respects.
Joe was a special person to us, what with our numerous trips to Pro-Ams in Vegas, jaunts to the Bahamas and his gin games at the club-to name but a few. 
He was also someone I never hesitated to go to simply  bounce something off him for advice -his input was always respected. I will miss him dearly.
You all be well and know good wishes are sent from us...Peace

From niece Camille DeSalvo-D’Alesio & family to Lisa, my cousins and their families -- I’d like to share these thoughts of Uncle Joe and his impact even from a distance.  

As everyone knows Uncle Joe loved golf and as such, the Arrigo’s lived either on or near a golf course most of their lives.  As a young girl I remember one particular visit to their Sandwich, IL home where, naturally, they resided on a golf course.  Which hole I don’t remember, but I do remember a specific afternoon when Uncle Joe encouraged me to grab a club and balls as he wanted to see “what I could do.”  After some brief coaching, as the ball laid on the downslope of the green, he gave his final instruction and with one quick flip of my wrist, the ball popped up and landed gently to then trickle perfectly into the hole.  I was amazed.  Uncle Joe was amazed.  However, he was also absolutely certain the combination of his shrewd instruction and what might be my innate skill made that ball roll right in.  I’ll never forget how proud he made me feel.  How to this day given the rare occasion to play, no matter how badly, I always feel confident and never intimidated.  A lesson which travelled well through my life.

Uncle Joe was a dynamic being.  He had a high wattage smile that lite up a room and possessed a very clear sense of self.  Who could ever doubt him?!  Uncle Joe was charming indeed.  He led his life and entire family on a tremendously wild ride with precise certainty which rarely did not land him on his feet and brought all in his orbit tremendous success and satisfaction too.  He was our Frank Sinatra – Uncle Joe did it “His Way!” His conviction became everyone’s addiction. 

Whether in business, golf, card playing, gourmet cooking or just being a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father, papa and friend, Uncle Joe was definitely in a class by himself.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him well and loved him much.  Forever in our hearts, rest in sweet peace Uncle Joe.

It's so heartbreakingly unexpected to hear this. 
I just saw you at the last fundrasing event at BLCC, got a big hug and a kiss from you as always. I took you to the kitchen to see Chef and walked you back to your family. 
Mr. Arrigo, may you rest in peace in Heaven. And allow me to say this one last time : it's an honor to know  a great man that you always were.

Mr. A. always was a very smart car guy, and knew how to take care of his customers and employees. I am honored to have met him, and worked for him and the Arrigo family for 12 years. A true Icon that will be sorely missed by all that knew him.  and loved the man.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the

I always enjoyed having  several Sunday dinners he so lovingly prepared for his family . 
I think being in the kitchen and around the table was one of his favorite places  to be  with everyone.

Grandpa Arrigo, 

Where do I begin. I met Amanda in College and when I was looking for my car replacement I went to Arrigo. Grandpa Arrigo happened to be in that day and we instantly hit it off. He is the funniest sweetest man I have ever met. He didn’t care about me being there for a car he wanted to learn about me and my life. I never went anywhere else to buy a car since. This saddens my heart. My thoughts and prayers to the Arrigo family. You all are such a beautiful and strong family. He will shine down on your for eternity. That amazing of a man will never leave you alone.

He leaves behind his wife Lisa,
three children, Virginia Arrigo Landrum and son-in-law Don, Jim Arrigo and daughter-in-law Margaret, John Arrigo, and daughter-in-law Megan all of Jupiter, Fl
and stepdaughter Amanda Krach of Desert Hot Springs, CA.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved grandchildren Kristina (Eric), Ashley, Alyssa, Angela, Katie, Amanda, Freddy, Frances, Joseph, Gina, Olivia, and Opal.
He is also survived by his sister Sally Orrico, sister Carmella Murtaugh, and brother Carmen (Linda) Arrigo and their families all from Chicago, Il.H
