

Lucille Cluxton married Andrew Balconis, November 6, 1938 in New York City. Andrew preceded her in death in 1997.
She is survived by her three daughters Diane (Gerry) Quinn, Sr. Andrea Balconis and Denise ( Art) Rogers; four grandchildren; Patti, Jerry, Kevin and Sean and seven great –grandchildren; Patrick , Michael, Natalie, Mary, Sophia, Delaney and Mikayla.
Lucille and her husband Andrew traveled extensively over the years, visiting Europe, China, Central , South America and the Caribbean and most of the United States.
She loved to dance and was an accomplished seamstress and knitter, having made over 200 lap quilts she gave as gifts. She enjoyed playing bridge and bingo but her love was backgammon, which she continued to play weekly and daily if possible. She and her husband won many tournaments at the Coral Beach and Sailfish Club of Florida. She will be known for never saying “No” to the question. “Would you like to play?” but would respond “Of Course!” She will be dearly missed.
Arrangements are being made with Quattlebaum Funeral Home and a mass of Christian Burial will be said on Monday, January 22 at 10am at St. Edward Catholic Church, Palm Beach.
