Margaret was raised in Arcola, Illinois. Margaret married Dan, the love of her life, in 1951. Dan and Margaret moved to Florida in 1956 where they enjoyed a life filled with love, laughter, and adventures.
Her love for family was her number one priority.
When not doting on her family, Margaret played golf, bowled, and exercised. Her sharp wit, profound wisdom, and unwavering strength were a guiding light to all who knew her.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Dan and daughter Peggy Newton Mattocks. She is survived by her son Mike (Christine) and daughters Diane (Jeff) Standish and Linda (Guy) Colella, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles, 100 Crestwood Blvd. S., Royal Palm Beach, FL, on Monday November 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. followed by burial services at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
