19,1955 in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her loving father, John Joseph
Carro (Connie), husband, Andrew Peter Skurka, and niece Wende Kohlenberg.
Phyllis loved going to bingo, playing slots at the casinos, but most of all, she loved
spending time with her family. Traveling to weddings, birthday celebrations and family
reunions. She was happiest making collages of her family and of these events. She was an
avid country music lover. She enjoyed going to country concerts and blasting some Alan
Jackson and Toby Keith. She really loved playing cards, games and crafting with her
grandson’s, nieces and nephew.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Angel Lynn Hurtado (Caesar) of Loxahatchee, Florida,
Kendra Sue Morton (David) of Sugar Hill Georgia, grandsons, Adam Hurtado, Alex Hurtado,
Ashton Hurtado, Harrison Morton, Hayden Morton, Hudson Morton, mother, Elizabeth Jean
Collins, sisters, Connie Olschewske (Robin), Shirley Carro, and brother John Carro
(Evelyne), multiple loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and even great,
great niece and nephews.
