Born in Utica, NY he married his beloved wife Barbara on the 4th of July, 1963 and had a faithful, happy union for 55 years. For the last 19 years he resided in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Whiskey had a zest for life and enjoyed years of golfing, playing poker, gardening, reading and time with his family. An only child, Whiskey had many close friends and shared wonderful experiences with them that he fondly recalled; he had a good life and was always grateful for the family he created with his wife. There are no words that can describe in full the funny, sweet, genuine man that he was but all who met him were left better off for knowing him.
He was proud to have served his country as a US Marine.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his devoted children Richard (Christina) Wishart, Renee (Richard) Knoffloch, Maria (James) Povlock and his son Robert, who preceded him in death and who he will joyfully be reunited with in the next life. He cherished his grandchildren Nicolas, Preston, Grace and Reese. He also leaves behind a special daughter in law, Bruna Wishart and a favorite niece, Erica Marie Jalonack.
He ended many conversations to his children with "When you get there, write" and so, with profound love, we send him off with the same message. Semper Fi.
At his request, there will not be a service.
