Susan White

Susan was Born January 17,1959 in Carrollton, Georgia. She was the youngest of 4 children born to Danial James Brand Jr and Judith Ann Whidden.

In 1991, she earned a BS degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University here in Florida; in 2021 she completed her MS degree in Addiction Counseling through Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.

Following in her late fathers footsteps, she spent 14 years in Air Defense as a 14D Hawk Missile Systems crew member, followed by 8 years in the Army National Guard as a 92A Automated Logistical Specialist. She served 22 years and retired in 2003 as a Staff Sergeant/E6.

After retirement from the Army, she worked for the Tampa Electric Company for a number of years and then became a Counselor and Group Facilitator for individuals recovering from substance abuse. She really enjoyed helping Veterans.

She is survived by three older brothers: Daniel (Erika), NC ; David (Sherry), GA; and Steven, IN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation in memory of SSG/E6 Susan J. White.

A visitation for Susan will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417. A reception will occur Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417.
