Fran was the beloved wife of 65 years and best friend of John J. Deppeler; adored mother of Susanne (Jim) Hazel, John (Anne) Deppeler, Donna (Kevin) Gawel, James (Kim) and Robert (Kari) Deppeler; cherished grandmother of seven and devoted great grandmother of four; loving sister of Patricia Nomm and the late Mary Anne Moyer. Fran was a dedicated volunteer and longtime president of the West Seneca Historical Society and also served as a volunteer with the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-7 PM at HOY FUNERAL HOME 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca. A morning gathering will be on Thursday at the Funeral Home at 9:30 AM with a funeral service there at 10:30 AM. Entombment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
