Barbara Diantha Josephson

Barbara was born October 25, 1932 in Cedar City, Utah to Frank Lazell Norris and Ada Thompson Norris. She married Joseph Robert Josephson on June 1, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mom was always proud she was the first June bride in 1949.

Our Mom was married to Dad for 57 years. She loved to crochet, garden and the occasional gambling trip to Wendover. She loved her dog Suzie and always enjoyed cooking for her family. Barbara’s family would like to thank all the people who helped her the last few months during her transition into assisted living.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Mel (Lisa) Josephson, David (Debbie) Josephson, daughters, Diana Andrews and Patricia Leiter, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, three sisters Glenna Lukes of Murray, Utah, Alice Brimhall of Ogden, Utah and Jill Talbot of St. George, Utah and one brother Floyd Norris of Hawaii, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and five sisters, her husband and one grandson.

Mom will always be remembered for her sweetness and kindness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 15th, 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Internment at Valley View Memorial Park.
