Barbara Fraser Rasmussen, 87 years old, passed away peacefully at Sagewood Assisted Living Home in Daybreak, Utah, on October 5, 2016. She was born on June 13, 1929 in Garfield Utah and was the last living Alumni of the Class of ’47 from Cyprus High School. She married Bud Rasmussen on June 17, 1947, later solemnized in the LDS Temple. She retired from First Security Bank in Monticello in 1996 after 18 years of service.
She is survived by her brother, Jack Fraser (Lolly); daughters, Kathie Riddle (Matt), and Patti Closterman; son, David Rasmussen (Missy); grandchildren, Steven (Tawnie) King, Bambi (Dan) Warren, Heather (Luke) Munk and Hollie (John) DeSmet; grandchildren by her deceased daughter Jill are, Judd, Rory, Jamie and Ryan; great grandchildren, Wyatt, Alexis, Triston, Kaler, Kason, and Hallie; great great grandchildren, Traison and Tatum, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell (Bud) Rasmussen; son, Jack L. Rasmussen; daughter, Jill Ann Guest; parents, George Fraser and Mildred Wilson Fraser, and son-in-law, Warren Closterman.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
