

Beva Rae Wheeler Gines passed away peacefully February 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 5th, 1934 in Park City, Utah to Ray Leval and June Jacobson Wheeler. At age 5 they moved to Heber City, Utah where she was raised.
While her sweetheart was in the service, they were courting mostly through letters. When Clyde B. Gines returned home they were married on April 20, 1953 in Heber City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on June 11, 1998 in the Jordan River Temple.
Mom was musically inclined and played the clarinet, accordion, piano, and organ. She was the star of the basketball team in high school and an avid Utah Jazz fan. She loved all outdoor activities with her family, dutch oven cooking, ice cream, and most of all a good game of pinochle. Many of her friends and family have handmade cherished treasures from her talent of crocheting.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many callings including a service mission, and a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, one great grandson Derk, and sister Beulah Broadhead.
She is survived by her children, Brent (Diane), Ray (Denise), Mark (Marianne), Betty (Doug) Stowell, Lynda (Jerry) Elmer, Beverly (Mohammad) Jbailat, 22 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Brother Dennis (Rita) Wheeler, Don Broadhead, and Burel Naha.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 17th, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Jordan North 4th Ward, 4270 So. Falcon St. (4145 W), WVC, Utah. Friends and family may call from 12:00 – 12:45 pm prior to the services, and Friday evening February 16th, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, WVC, Utah.
