Catherine Clark, 77, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on January 25, 1948, Catherine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and grace touched all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Carolyn Doyle, and her parents, Leo and Edna Coe.
Catherine is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Calvin Clark, and her two sons, Rick (Rhonda) Clark and Russell (Jennifer) Clark. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Austin, Jessica, Kaitlin, Sean, Brandin, Cody, Marin, and Chloe, and a cherished great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren.
Catherine worked for over 20 years at the Stateline and Silver Smith Casinos, where she brought joy and warmth to countless guests. Her friendly customer service, dedication, and genuine care left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
Although small in physical stature, Catherine had a heart that spoke volumes — full of compassion, quiet strength, and unwavering love. Her strong spirit and quiet resilience carried her through life’s challenges and inspired those around her.
To her grandchildren, she was magic. She hosted the best sleepovers, filled with movie marathons and endless craft projects. Holidays were unforgettable, She had a love for decorating her home for Halloween with cool and quirky decorations — including a favorite animatronic Frankenstein that delighted all who saw it. And every spring, she organized the most legendary Easter egg hunts in Pilot Valley, filled with laughter, surprises, and the kind of joy that only a grandma like her could create.
Catherine’s life will be celebrated in a private family gathering May 24th. In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who knew her to honor her memory with an act of kindness in her name.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of her family and friends.
