Catherine Gillett Harmston passed away December 6, 2013 of age related complications.
She was born January 20, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She also lived in the Unita Basin moving back to Kearns in the early 70’s. She was the last remaining member of her family. She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Kathy. Her surviving children, Keith Mounteer, Maudeen Holfeltz, Terry Mounteer, Susan Coppa, Dennis Mounteer, Leslie Mounteer, Joseph Mounteer and Robin Skinner. She had 51 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and counting.
Her viewing will be at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12th. Funeral Services will be held at the Kearns 14th Ward, 4232 West 5015 South, Kearns, Utah, Friday the 13th of December at 11:00 a.m. Private Family viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. After Services the interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
