Chad Earl Wilson, 66, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in West Valley City, Utah. He was born on April 29, 1959, in Salt Lake City, Utah to John and Gladis Wilson. He grew up in Magna, Utah and later married Cynthia Beck Wilson on June 12, 2004.
Chad was a good husband, father and grandfather. He was a heavy equipment operator working for Salt Lake County Sanitation for over 30 years. He also worked for Lake View Rock Products and Aniconda Mine in Tooele for several years.
He was a father to Travis John Wilson and Preston Chad Wilson and to Cindy’s children: Travis, Joshua, Jesse, Carol, Joseph and Dale. A grandfather to 21 grandchildren. He enjoyed camping and riding his side by side and Harley Tryglide.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Beck Wilson, children, stepchildren and grandchildren; siblings, Clyde, Deward, Maridown, Dixie. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life for Chad will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 6-8pm at Valley View Funeral, 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley City, Utah.
