West Jordan, Ut.-Carma Darlene Woolsey Vance, 73 years old went to be with our Father in heaven on 4/17/2014. She died from complications of a fall. Born 9/06/1940 to Harold EdwardWoolsey and Sarah Berneice Menzies Woolsey of Mount Pleasant, Utah. Mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she died with her daughter's at her bedside. She leaves behind four daughters, Cathie Lynne (Kieth) Biesinger of WVC, Utah; Laura Michelle Vance Thome, of Portland, Oregon; Tonya Darlene (Eric) Baker, of West Jordan, Utah; Cristel Dru Vance Christensen, of Taylorsville, Utah. She has 9 grandchildren, Corey, Christene, Ashley, Sean, Brandon, Jacoby, Jalie, Kayla, and Lacie Dru. She also leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother,Harold Dean (Candace) Woolsey, of Missouri. He called her his "ace in the hole". Mom loved caring for others and working in the medical field. She worked in the lab at Primary Children's Hospital, and at Valley View Care Center as a CNA. She married her sweetheart on October 25, 1958. He passed in1999. She loved playing games, especially dice, and had a fabulous smile, a hearty laugh, and a love for life. We loved listening to her play her harmonica and her guitar. The music she shared will stay with us forever.Preceeded in death by husband, Tony Larell Vance, grandson, Michael Kieth, sister, Carol Jean Benedict, and her mother and father.Funeral services will be held at Hunter 20th Ward, 7035 West Lochness Ave, WVC, Utah 84128, on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:00 am. Viewing will be Monday April 21st at the church from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm along with one hour prior to services on the 22nd. Internment will be at Valley View Memorial Park, 4035 West 4100 South, WVC, Utah 84120 around 1:00 pm on Tuesday following funeral services.
