Darrin LaMont Christensen

Darrin LaMont Christensen, 61, passed away on March 9, 2026, in West Valley City, Utah. Born on September 24,1964, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Darrin was the beloved son of the late J. LaMont Christensen and LarSena Christensen.

Darrin is survived by his devoted wife, Karie; his daughter TahNee Pomp and her husband Shaz; his son Randy Mangum and his wife Shauna; and his cherished granddaughters Bailee Mangum, Rylee Mangum, Westlynn Pomp and Avery Pomp. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters DorRita Curvin (and her husband Kelly) and LoraLee Sperry (and her husband Tom). Darrin’s family was the cornerstone of his life, and he held a deep love for each of them.

A man who found joy in the great outdoors, Darrin spent much of his time hunting, fishing, and camping. These activities brought him peace and fulfillment as he connected with nature. He was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed cheering for his team. Beyond his hobbies and passions, Darrin had a profound love for his family and friends. Known for his generous spirit and willingness to help others, he left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Darrin’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May his legacy of kindness and devotion bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

A viewing will be held in his honor on March 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah
