Diana Dorothy Andreason

Diana Dorothy Andreason passed away peacefully in Magna, Utah on November 07, 2024. Diana was born on December 31,1938 to Kenneth Lamar Brems and Lois Smith. Adopted at 4yrs old by her grandparents Dorothy Ann Wright Smith and Vance Meadows Smith.

Diana grew up and went to school in Magna, Utah and graduated from Cyprus High School. She married Stanley Wilford Andreason on November 23, 1955, and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on December 05,1956. Diana and Stan raised 5 children: Stanley Joe (Kathy) of Magna, Utah; Vickie (David) of Tooele, Utah; Dixie (Jeff) of Stansbury, Utah; Peggy (Paul) of Magna, Utah; and Sandra (Torey) of West Valley, Utah. She is survived by her husband and five children, seventeen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and her brothers Vance Smith (Sharron), Thomas Brems (Esther), Ted Brems (Stacy), and sisters Karen Matz (Steve), Nancy Key (Lionel). She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Vanice Smith, Dorothy Hines, & Helen Hart, brothers Francis Pokorny (Beverly), Kenneth Dale Brems.

Diana had a lifelong interest in genealogy and family history research. She loved her home and enjoyed building it with Stan. She enjoyed baking, sewing, and working in her garden. She found great joy in serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as a primary teacher, teaching the children, Primary President, Relief Society President, compassionate service leader, temple service, but most of all her greatest passion was caring for her husband and raising her family.

The family would like to thank Cassie Stockwell with Hospice for the care and comfort that she provided our mother within the last weeks of her life. Her final resting place will be in Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City, Utah.

A viewing will be held Thursday evening, November 14th, from 6-8pm at the Valley View Memorial Funeral Home, (4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120).

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 15th, 11-Noon, preceded by a viewing from 10-10:45am
