I remember D. C. With love. Love and prayers to all his family.❤

The memories I have of Uncle DC are a big part of my childhood. He was always there, laughing, telling stories, and just loving his family. I will miss him dearly, but I know he is happy to be once again, with his family in heaven. 

Being raised in the South and knowing the deep Pain that all of Vera Mae Dixon Lindsey's five surviving children experienced when she passed away at the age of 31 with child #6 and the hard road ahead of them in the years that followed - I have always been impressed with how each sought to do their best to live up to the full measure of their creation as they sought to bless many that came into their life.

My father Del(bert) was the oldest of the five living children and he always had a great love for each of his three brothers and his sister and he went to great length to bless them with his love, kindness, and support in ways that would bless their lives.

Their Mother's passing at such a young age with the baby deeply impacted their life going forward and I know that DC had a deep compassion for others through this his Mortal Journey because of what he had experienced.

Through the years I never heard Uncle DC say an unkind word to another and I knew that he had a deep and abiding love for his Eternal Companion Barbara and each of his Children who he wants to be with him on the continuing Eternal Journey ahead.

From our Lindsey Family to DC's Lindsey Family we wish you all the very best as we hold firmly to the Iron Rod and move forward on this Eternal Journey.  Sam & LeeAnn and Family

As a tiny little girl I remember my Uncle DC playing with me.  He was part of our family and stayed close to us through the years.  Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were incomplete if Don, Barbara and family were not there.  I am grateful that he is my Uncle.  He showed kindness, love to all family members.  He was interested in everyone and listened intently and would give a short few words and then smile.  His smile and laughter will be missed terribly.  He leaves behind a beautiful family and wife who I know he cherished.  He loves Barbara!  He now will hurt no more and will be with his mother, father and siblings.  Miss you Uncle DC!  May the Lord bless the Don Carlos Lindsey Family at this time of sorrow with peace and love.

It's been years sence I've seen Don but growing up with Gary and mike I had plenty of opportunity to run into
 Don and Barbra. Don was always the most kind and caring man I know. I remember playing pool with him and Gary in the basement of there home.  I spent many hours with them at the house. I know he will be missed by everyone around him. My condolences go out to Barbra and the family.  God Bless.    

I thank God for my genuine and real best friend Don. I met Don in 1983 at Sperry Univac. We spent many hours working together, but more importantly we fished,and fished,and fished some more. He was like family too me and my family. We all loved/ love Don.  We spent many hours talking about how lucky we were to have the families that we have. I can tell you no one was more proud of their family than Don.  Don was a hard worker. But he knew how to mix in a little fun, yet still get more done than most others could. He supported me in all my endeavors and gave the most real down to earth advice.  The world will not be the same without him in it. You can bet heaven is now a better place with Don in it.  Barbara,  Gary, Mike, and Sharron,   Don loved you all with every fiber of his being. He will definitely be a Guardian Angel for you all. May he rest in peace until we meet again. D.C. was one of my favorite cousins, along with his siblings.  Even though older than me, D.C. always seemed genuinely interested, curious and supportive of me...more like a brother or a best friend.  I suspect that he was that way with a great many, including family and a vast number of friends.  One of the saddest part of this entire Covid-19 pandemic that we all are trying to live through, is that it separated D.C. from his immediate family all of this past year.  D.C. was in a medical rehabilitation facility in Salt Lake City and Covid-19 protocols prohibited family visits for much of this past year, until most recently.   My most sincere condolences and sympathies go to his family in Salt Lake.  At the same time, I can rejoice (we all can), knowing that D.C. is enjoying a grand, family reunion with Mother, Father, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents in the glories of Paradise.       

My dad was the most amazing and wonderful father I could have ever asked for he was also my very best friend and he was so very loving and caring towards me. He had the most Kindest Heart and cared about everyone! I love and care about my dad with all my heart and I miss him so very much always and forever! I love you Dad!!
