

Dona Victoria Dickinson, born December 19th, 1936, in Lehi, Utah, to Horace and Alene Jackson, passed away peacefully at her home in West Valley City, Utah, on February 20, 2025. She married Kenneth LaVar Dickinson on August 14, 1954, and they later solemnized their union in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Dona leaves behind her daughters Vicki (Mike) and Jenny, sons Ricky (Chris) and Charles (Jeannie), along with 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Dona dedicated much of her life to service, contributing as a Young Women’s counselor and spending many years as the quilting and craft coordinator for the Relief Society. Her creativity shone through in the costumes and props she crafted for LDS Stake road shows. Together with Kenneth, she loved square dancing, forming lasting friendships with a group they camped and traveled with. Professionally, Dona worked for 20 years at Bosch Inc. After retiring in 1991, she and Kenneth split their time between Arizona winters and their West Valley home in the summers, cherishing their community and loved ones. Dona was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Alene Jackson, siblings Ray Jackson, Renee Squire, and IdaMae Olsen, and her beloved husband, Kenneth.
Her legacy of love, creativity, and connection lives on in her family and friends.
