Duane (Piggy) Theron Chatwin Sr. was born on April 19, 1963 in Salt Lake City to Theron Duane Chatwin and Joan Lavinia Chatwin. He passed away on October 30, 2021 in his daughters loving arms coming home from Tabiona where he loved to be helping out his son.
He married his high school sweetheart Shelly Chatwin May 20, 1983 and then on January 30, 1989 they were sealed in the Jordan River Temple. Duane took care of Shelly and loved taking her out to dinner and going to see the Christmas lights. He taught Shelly how to get through life if anything were to happen. He loved teaching people everything he knew from driving, shooting, hunting, fishing etc. On June 7, 1985 Duane and Shelly had their first son Duane (Dee) Theron Chatwin Jr. who was always around his dad and it was not often the two were not seen together. When Dee's health started to decline and was put on a liver transplant list, Duane Sr. took him to all his blood tests, ultra sounds and all his other tests. On September 28, 1988 Duane and Shelly had their daughter Natasha Nicole Chatwin and loved to be around her dad and went hunting, fishing, off roading all the time and she also took over the farm when her dad and brothers health started to decline. On August 19, 1991 Duane and Shelly had their second son Phillip John Chatwin who loved movies and wrestling and when Phillip became a wrestler with DCW, Duane was SO proud and looked forward to watching Phillip every weekend. They loved to stay up late and watch movies or old TV shows from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. He was so happy to rescue his little rescue dog Poochie, she went everywhere with him. She was his travelling, hunting and fishing buddy.
We would like to thank Kamas and Summit County EMS and Police Department.
