
Earl C. Brunner Jr., 88, passed away March 27, 2013 in American Fork, Utah. He was born Dec. 13, 1924 in Los Angeles, to Earl C. Brunner Sr. and Louise E. Jones. He graduated from Barstow High School and served his country during World War II as a Pharmacist Mate in the Navy. He earned a BS degree and a Masters of Administration Degree from Brigham Young University. He was a member of the LDS Church. Earl was an educator having taught in Western Samoa and then most of his career in the Clark County Nevada School District as a teacher and Principal of several Elementary Schools. He retired from the School District in the mid 1980’s. He was an avid genealogist and served as the Director of the LDS Church’s Family History Center in Las Vegas for thirty years. He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Bruce and David Arnold. Earl is survived by his loving Wife, Laurine Brunner; his brother, Robert Brunner, children, Earl Claude, Karl Martin, Kurt Lafi and Laurine Louise; 6 granddaughters, 15 grandsons, 18 great granddaughters and 16 great grandsons. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, April 1, at the Lake Mountain First Ward, 88 West Harbor Parkway, Saratoga Springs, Utah, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Donations in lieu of flowers should be sent to the Primary Children’s Hospital located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
