

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Eunice Isabelle Chance, 99, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024, in Rocky Ridge, Utah. She was born on March 6, 1925, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Herbert Jacob Katzer and Violet Ida Torbeck.
Eunice married the love of her life, John Matthew Cianciarulo Chance, on February 20, 1945, in Hollywood, California. Together, they built a warm and loving family, a testament to her deep devotion. Eunice was a proud Catholic, whose faith guided her through life.
As the only girl among three brothers, Eunice developed a resilient spirit and a joyful sense of humor that endeared her to many. She was a dedicated mother to her three sons and cherished her role as a grandmother, always ready with thoughtful gifts and wise advice.
An avid Green Bay Packers football fan, Eunice had a passion for the game that matched her enthusiasm for life. She was a hard worker from a young age, demonstrating a strong work ethic that inspired those around her. Her love for family and her generous nature were evident in everything she did.
Eunice leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories from her 3 children; 18 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John and son Philip. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
A viewing for Eunice will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 5pm-7pm at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley City, Utah.
She will be laid to rest next to her sweet husband on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 1:30 PM at the Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53005
A memorial service for Eunice and her beloved husband, John, will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 5:00 pm at the Rocky Ridge Church, 157 N. Rockwell Dr.
