Our loving father, partner, brother, and friend has returned to heaven after a courageous battle with cancer. Gerber was a very strong and determined man, overcoming many obstacles to “beat the odds” in his fight against cancer. Miracles were witnessed, and blessings were granted. Gerber has touched the lives of many, including the many health care workers who had the privilege to care for him over the past 10 months. Gerber was a very kind hearted, humble, soft-spoken man who was loved by all who knew him. He loved spending time with his family and friends, enjoyed dancing, and lived for soccer. He was a wonderful father and leaves behind 5 beautiful children; Nelson, Christopher, Desiree, Sirey, and Nicole, along with his loving companion Jessy, his mother, and his two brothers Carlos and Walter. Gerber will be dearly missed, but will live forever in our hearts: never to be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
