Gregory Milburn Fenn

Gregory Milburn Fenn left this earthly existence on Sunday May 25, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family, after a 16 month heroic battle with metastatic squamous cell carcinoma. Greg was born on October 29, 1951 to Warren Reid and Aminta Amparo Vilar Fenn. He was the second child, and middle son.

Greg grew up in the Sugarhouse area attending Garfield elementary, Rosslyn Heights elementary, Clayton Jr High, Southeast Jr High, and graduating from Highland High School in 1970. He attended the University of Utah.

Greg worked for the United States Postal Service, from which he retired. In 1989 Greg met a fellow letter carrier Sherry Hills and they married. He became an instant father to her 4 children, Chad, Brandon, Justin and Misty. Within a few years he and Sherry added Krystal Lynn and Brittany Aminta to their family. They later divorced. One of the greatest joys, was when he became a papa. Those daughters gave him 10 grandchildren. His family and grandkids were the light of his life.

He is survived by his daughters, Krystal (Justin) Rains of Kentucky and Brittany (James) Pizzo of Kearns, Utah. His brothers and sisters, Michael (Kimm) Fenn, Pasadena Ca. (his partner in a lot of mischievousness) Debra (Alan) Andrus, Kevin (Marianne) Fenn, both of Taylorsville and Ki Gardner of Honolulu; and many nieces and nephews.

To know Greg and his antics was to love him. He made an impression with everyone he met. He kept his humor till the very end. At his request no funeral will be held, but a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Thank you to all who shared their love with Greg. He will be greatly missed.
