Kirk was born June 16, 1989, to Joseph Todd and Carolyn Raisor Richards. Kirk was the third child. Kirk passed away on October 24, 2021, from COVID, surrounded by his loved ones.
During his short 32 years, When Kirk was born he had a difficult time breathing then he spent so much time in the hospital, Yes back then it was called Pioneer Valley Hospital now called Jordan Valley West.
As a child he was pigeon toed so bad that his mom made him go to tap class with his older sisters. He would fall a lot. One time when he was about 2 years old, he fell off his parents bed and hit the heat vent register and cut his head open, seventeen stitches, he was supposed to have a skin graft if the flap did not adhere to head, Kirk fell into the wall and hit his head so hard that it started to bleed, it brought the blood supply back to the flap and he did not need to have the skin graft.
Kirk enjoyed camping, hunting, bowling and spending time with his loved ones. Kirk was always found helping others. He loved making everyone laugh with is Donald Duck voice, his laugh was infectious and unique, it was Kirk’s. He always had to do things his way.
Kirk married Theresa Haley on November 25, 2009. Together they had 2 daughters Samaria Eden (11) and Kiersten Marie (10). They later divorced in December 2013.
Kirk met His Fiancée Andrea Roberts in 2012. He helped her raise her sons, Logan (15) and Harley (12).
Survived by his parents, siblings; Karli (Paul) Gadilauskas, Kassandra (Tim) Bryant, Kavin (Abigail) Richards and his children, and grandmother, Gloria Richards.
Proceeded in death by his Grandfather’s Joseph Richards and Jay Raisor, Grandmother, Nedra Raisor, Uncle, David Raisor, Aunt, JoAnn Lang. Just to name a few, because we have so many that passed before him.
Public Viewing will be held November 1, 2021 from 12:00-12:45 pm, closing of the casket and family prayer with a Graveside services starting at 1:00 pm at Valley View Memorial 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, Utah 84120.
Masks encouraged. Kirk’s wish is that everyone that attends will wear something blue his favorite color, this is NOT a formal occasion!!
We would like to thank everyone in the Emergency Room at Jordan Valley West Campus that worked so hard to try to help our son.
May you rest in peace and my God wrap his arms around you so that you maybe comforted along the journey you are on now with all your family in heaven and let them rejoice of your return home. God be with you, till we meet again.
