Our condolences to the Roger and the rest of the Speirs family.  She was so admired by many, raising a large family, and always cheerful and friendly to those of us who were friends of the family.  May the family find solace in the lasting memories of this matriarch.

.Jeana was the second oldest of five children born to Neils and Betty Jensen. I was the youngest child and Jeana holds a special place in my life.  She was my dearest and beloved sister and part time Mom when our Mom was working. She was always there to get me dressed and hair fixed for church every Sunday.
Jeana was my inspiration, hero and adviser.  I will miss our weekly telephone visits and sharing memories of growing up.
I wanted so much to go the funeral but this old body was not up to it.  I love you Jeana.  Now there is just my brother Paul and myself (Betty Lu) left of the five Jensen children.  Brother Lowell passed away three years ago and Sister Carla passed away 10 years ago --- I miss them all.

So sad to hear about aunt  Jeana's passing. She was my favorite aunt. I'm sorry I couldn't  make it up there for the funeral, recovering from 2nd knee replacement  surgery and can't  travel . I love you and wanted you to know my prayers are with you all at this sad time.

I didn't have the privilege of personally knowing Jeana, but I am very close friends with her granddaughter, Tracy Beckstead.  In life, you strive to make a difference in this world.  I didn't have to read about Jeana's life to know she was an amazing woman.  You can see it in her grandchildren.  A grandparents role is so important in their grandchild's life, and she took this very seriously.  I can tell this in how caring, loving and selfless Tracy is.  We never know how many lives we have truly touch.  Through Jeana, giving me Tracy, my life, and my family's life is forever changed.  Thank you for the example you were to my dear friend.  For this, I am eternally grateful.  Something I heard in church this weekend "The only thing you can take to Heaven with you, is people".  Jeana, I bet you have a huge welcoming party for you, to celebrate all you did in this life, here on earth.  You are finally home, for eternity. "Well done good and faithful servant" Matthew 25:21

Aunt Jeana was like my mom. She took me to the SL temple in preparation for my mission to Ecuador. She hosted a surprise reception for me and my husband at her home after our temple wedding. We shared a love for family history. She told me to go to work when money was tight when our son was on his mission and so I did. She encouraged and chastised equally, as needed. She was honest and forthright and frugal. She was funny and entertaining. She loved her children and all her posterity and they were always on her mind. Her life was hard, becoming a young widow while she still had many children at home and she followed the promptings of the Spirit to guide her throughout her life. She suffered from a variety of trials and tribulations but she endured to the end with strong faith and steadfastness to the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was an inspiration to me. She kept busy and was never idol. She made a goal of meeting then breaking her grandfather's 500 proxy endowments a few times over. When it became too difficult to go to the temple she had family members take the names she had prepared. She was such a great example to me of a righteous woman. I will cherish my memories of her.

Jeana is a great lady, and friend.  She helped me with some important family history.  She has left a wonderful, strong legacy.  Thanks.

Jeana was my grandma.  She took great responsibility for life by having lots of kids leading to the existence of an overwhelming number of grandchildren.  I think that life is the greatest legacy that a person can leave behind.  I remember her for being very bluntly honest and for the numerous types of delicious candy that she would make around Christmas time. I love you grandma and thank you from making it possible for me to be alive. I know your spirit will go on for eternity. Goodbye grandma I love you.       From, grandson Andy and family

Just wanted to add... Special thanks goes out to Dignity Home Health and Hospice. They did  an amazing job, went above and beyond with love and compassion through out this whole process. Love you Gram.. You will truly be missed by all.
