Jeannie F. Marks Eby

Jeannie F. Eby was born January 31, 1933, and passed away March 30, 2010.

She was born to Floyd and Alpha Marks in Laclede County, Missouri. She was the eldest of 6 children. There were 3 boys and 3 girls. She married Dexter J. Eby and was Mother to Harold, Jerri Linn and MaryJane. Mom loved bowling and taking care of Dad, and never passed up a good meal. She started all phone calls by asking if you had eaten and how was the dog. Mom’s telephone was her lifeline. She kept in contact with her family by daily phone calls. Survivors include Harold, Jerri (Tod), Mary Jane (B.J.), 11 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Brothers, Bud (Betty) and Bill; Sisters, Betty (Junior), Della (Russ); Sister-in-Law, Joan Marks. Several nieces and nephews in Missouri, and 1 niece in Colorado. Preceded in death by husband Dexter; Daughter, Belinda Kay; Brother, James; Sister-in-Law, Judy; her parents and grandparents.

The family would like to thank Woodland Park Care Center and Bristol Hospice for taking such good care of Mom.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a viewing Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
