Jeffery Lee Kirby

Jeff was a kind, loving, loyal, fun, man who would help anyone. He loved Country and Celtic music, loved to dance and to be with friends. He loved the outdoors where he felt closest to God. He was an avid fisherman, camper, camp cook, with his specialty being Dutch Oven. He loved tinkering and could fix and build anything inside or outside. What was junk to most people was his spare parts or something worth fixing. He loved to cook from scratch and barbecue. He always made you feel safe whenever home, on the road, or in the mountains. The kids could tell him anything. He was a man’s man, tough, brave, confident, protective, yet soft. He will be sorely missed.

Jeff is survived by his partner, Linda W. Hull; his children, Kody Kirby, Matthew Kirby, Marcee Houser; six siblings, one step sibling, and four grandchildren.

Jeff is proceeded in death by his parents, Elvis DeVoy Kirby and Elizabeth Rene Newman; three siblings, Mike, James, and Ronnie; three step siblings; his ex-wife, Jody Lee Batt.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the LDS Hunter Ward, 3665 South 6000 West, West Valley City, Utah.
