Karen Hansen Karren, age 79, passed away on June 11, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Karen was born June 14, 1932 in Smithfield, Utah to Walter Emerson and Ellen Marie Hansen. She attended and graduated from North Cache High School. Karen married Ves Alma Karren on August 11, 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Karen was a very friendly and talkative person. She had a very generous and caring nature, and was often found helping those around her. She will be greatly missed.
Karen is survived by her children: Reed (Charisse), Mark, Eric (Bethanne) Karren; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband Ves, daughter Denise, son-in-law Dave Brewster, parents, brother Dennis, sister Emma Jean and granddaughter Chandra.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 14, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South, where friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the services.
