Kenneth Boyd Jensen

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Kenneth passed away April 3rd peacefully at home at the age of 76.

He was preceded in death by Kristine (sister) Boyd (Father) Gretta (mother) and Paul (brother).

He will be deeply missed by his family, wife of 53 years (Ellen) , his son and his daughter in-law (Jared, Jessica) , his brother (Richard) granddaughters and grandson in-law (Kaitlyn, Braxton, Ashley) and his great granddaughter (Wrenlee).

Ken graduated high school at Cyprus high in 1967 and from there enlisted in the United States Army and served in Vietnam for 1 year. He worked at the Salt Lake international airport for 34 years once he returned home. When he returned home he met his wife (Ellen) and married her in 1972.

His son (Jared) was then born in 1973.

Ken loved his family dearly, he also loved spending time with his grandchildren (Kaitlyn, Ashley) he loved going on long drives and after he retired from the Salt lake international airport he got a job at Stonebridge Golf course for his love of golfing. The highlight of his life was spending time with his granddaughters and great granddaughter. Ken was always one to go out of his way to talk to everyone to brighten their days.

We will always love him and miss him dearly. God be with him till we meet again.

A viewing will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. Funeral Services will be held at the Pavant Ward, 5000 W. Pavant Ave, West Valley City, Utah on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11:00 am with a viewing starting at 10:00 am.
